Vietnam, one of the countries in Southeast Asia is going through a fast process of transformation and rapidly becoming one of the most famous tourist destinations in the region. In spite of the war, that lasted about 30 years ago, Vietnam at the present is a nation of hope and optimism, growing cities, an advancing economy and an excess of famous tourist attractions, which include miles of sandy beaches, lush jungle, paddy fields and the Mekong Delta. Travelers book Vietnam flights in growing number for adventure or beach holidays or to have a break in its dynamic cities.

Many of flights to Vietnam arrive in one of its two main cities, Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi. Both cater to tourism with lots of restaurants, hotels, nightclubs and museums, although the city of Ho Chi Minh is more of Westernized and busy. Its avenues are filled with mopeds and it is not so common to see Vietnamese loading up their bikes with luggage, boxes or livestock and weave it off into a traffic-packed streets. In contrary, Hanoi is serene, elegant city, with a calm lake at its center as well as French majestic architecture. After spending some time in one of the major cities, most tourists travel towards the beaches, caves or the mountains of Ha Long Bay.

There are two major airports serving Vietnam- the Noi Bai International Airport and the Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
