It is the hub for Air Transat and Air Canada and the focus city of WestJet. The airport is one of the eight airports in Canada which boast the U.S. border preclearance facilities.



Also called Montreal-Trudeau, Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (airport code: YUL) is situated 20 kilometers from the downtown core of Montreal. It is an international facility which serves Greater Montreal as well as the areas in northern Vermont and New York. Trudeau is the most active airport in Quebec and the third busiest in the entire Canada in terms of passenger traffic. Also, it serves as one of the four hubs of Air Canada.
